Obituary for Jacklyn "Jackie" Ann Murphy Lett
acklyn Ann Murphy Lett, 77, passed away September 8, 2016. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 10, 2016 at 2:00pm at Sebrell Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Natchez Trace Cemetery. Jackie was president of the Mississippi Association of Broadcasters for 30 years. She was the first woman to be elected president of the Jackson Advertising Federation Jackie was past president of the National Alliance of State Broadcasting Association, past president of the Mississippi Society of Association Executives.She was a wonderful example to her fellow colleagues and leaves a legacy of leadership and dedication to the media and broadcasting business. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Lett, a well known broadcaster. She is survived in death by her children; Kelly McGinnis (Leslie), Kathy Proctor (James); Jamie McGinnis (Tim); 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. -
