Obituary for J. W. Donald
J.W. Donald, 66, passed away February 28, 2019 at his residence in Richland, MS. J. W. was born September 20th, 1952 in Waynesboro, MS to the late Jerry and Birdie Jimerson Donald. Mr. J.W. was a truck driver for more than 40 years, he enjoyed singing karaoke and most of all he loved being with his family. He and Mrs. Brenda made weekly trips to California on his routes and the weekends were spent having barbeques with his six daughters’ and family. J.W. is a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle who will be greatly missed. Mr. Donald is preceded death by his parents- Robert and Birdie Donald; brothers- Bob, Joe, Ed and Bill Donald; sisters- Janelle Donald and Scheryl Roberson; nephews- David, Gerald and Joe Donald, Jr.; and granddaughter Jennie Marie Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Brenda Eaton Donald from Richland, MS; daughters- Kim (Freddy) Johnson from Richland, MS, Wanda (Joe) Gipson from Port Allen, LA, Regina (Arthur) Meadows from Pearl, MS, Christy (Robert) Lick, Stacy Pruitt both from Vicksburg, MS and Amy Nel from Brandon, MS; brother- Oscar “Sonny” Donald from Jacksonville, FL; sisters-Rachel Frazier, Carol Gill both from Pearl, MS, Mary Galvin from Booneville, AR and Hazel Muncher from Holcomb, MS; 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, March 3rd, 2019 from 5-6 PM at Sebrell Funeral Home and the service will be Tuesday, March 4th, 2019 at 12 noon, also at Sebrell Funeral Home with Bro. Todd Sanders officiating. Interment will be at Richland Cemetery, 321 Cleary Rd., Richland, MS. Pallbearers will include Lee Boyer, Christian Meadows, Eric Britt, Tyler Britt, Justin Johnson and Joe Gipson, Jr.
