Obituary for Irma Faye Morris
Irma Faye Morris passed away to her heavenly home on August 7, 2016, at Bedford Care Center of Mendenhall, Mississippi. Ms. Morris was born in Tutwiler, Mississippi on December 28, 1928.
She lived through the depression and the second world war. Her family moved to Jackson in the early 1940’s where she attended Jackson Public Schools, her last few tears were lived in Brandon, Mississippi. She was a strong-willed little lady who would give you her opinion, but would help anyone. She was a hairdresser for many years and was the owner of several beauty shops. Through the years many people passed through her shops and she made many friends. In later years her health declined and she had some challenging days. She was a Godly woman.
She had many fun days with her grandson, Brad Lovette.
She was predeceased by her husband J.D. Lovette, her mother, father, and sister. She is survived by her son Al Lovette and his wife Joyce, grandson, Brad Lovette and his wife Wendy, and two great grandsons, Corey and Sam Lovette all of Brandon, Mississippi. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
I would personally like to thank my wife, Joyce, as she has been my mother’s primary caregiver for many years. I would also like to thank all the caregivers at Bedford Care Center of Mendenhall nursing home and especially the administrator, Ms. Davis, who found us a home for mom when we needed it.
There is no service planned at this time.
