Obituary for Harold Hoover Caver

Dr. Harold Hoover Caver, 98, of Jackson, MS, died peacefully Tuesday, December 19th.

Harold was born, November 3, 1925, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Levert Ellis Caver and Clara (“Tolly”) Hoover Caver. He lived most of his life in Jackson, MS.

In life, Harold treasured relationships more than anything, with God, his family, and his friends (which were just a larger extension of his family). Harold is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Margaret, and is survived by his children: Clay & Cindy Caver, Becky Caver, and Doug & Missy Caver, as well as four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Northminster Baptist Church with a family inurnment following at the columbarium.
