Obituary for Hannelore Habicht Kelly
Hannelore Habicht Kelly, 86, of Flora, died June 8, 2021 at Highland Home in Ridgeland, Mississippi. A graveside service will be held at 9:00 a.m. June 11, 2021 at Flora Cemetery with the Rev. Gil Powell officiating.

Mrs. Kelly was born on April 4, 1935, in New Isenberg, Germany, the daughter of the late George Habicht and Alma Elsinger. She met the love of her life, Mervin while he was serving in the military. She immigrated to the United States and settled in Flora.

She loved her family and cherished her grandchildren, family was always important to her. Mrs. Kelly operated a day care for over 40 years and was known by all as “Mamaw Hanna”

Mrs. Kelly was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Flora and is preceded in death by her husband, Mervin Kelly and son-in-law, David Poole

She is survived by her daughters, Diane Barker and her husband Doug; Mary Anne Poole; her grandchildren, Cliff Barker (Katie), Angie Ward (Boo); Tim Barker (Cherrie), Michael Poole, Justin Poole (Cheyenne). Her great-grandchildren, Garin Ward, Hanna Barker, Tori Barker, Aidan Barker, Will Barker, Ethan Barker, Kelly Poole.
