Obituary for Gloria Jean Glenn
Gloria Jean Glenn, 73, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family.
She was born February 17, 1948 in Noxapater, MS to the late William and Hazel Kemp Carrington.
She was a loving mother & will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Jean loved spending time with her family as well as going to the boat & playing bingo.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Glenn, and her brother, Dalton Carrington.
She is survived by her children, Mitchell Stewart (Kathy), of Simpson County; Connie Stewart, of Pearl; Lisa Hooper (Chris), of Terry; John Glenn and Robert Glenn, both of Pearl; her sisters, Faye Hodge, Rita Goodin, Ruth Goodin, and Linda Lee; her 16 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Services will be at 2:00 PM on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Sebrell Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
