Obituary for Glen Stanford Morgan, Sr.
Glen Stanford Morgan, Sr., 91, of Brandon, MS, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 1, 2022. Mr. Morgan was a native of Byrneville, Alabama born to Ira Stanford and Viola Brooks Morgan.
He served in the U.S. Army with the 67th MP Company.
He worked at Chemstrand Corporation in Pensacola, FL, before later moving his family to Mississippi where he retired as a maintenance supervisor for Georgia Pacific Corporation in Monticello, MS.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ira Stanford and Viola (Brooks) Morgan; wife (Hazel Marshall Morgan); sister Winnie Morgan; brothers Winfred Morgan and Donald Morgan.
He is survived by a son Glen Stanford (Stan) Morgan, Jr., (Missy), daughter Sheila Keller (Mark), four grandchildren; Rachel Sanders, Laura Elizabeth Cliburn (Matt); Marshall Morgan (Buffy); Anna Smith (Corey); great-grandchildren: Marley Pate Morgan, Charley Stanford Morgan, Lyric Cliburn and Layla Cliburn.
Survivors also include a brother Homer Morgan (Betty) of Gulf Shores, AL; sisters Shirley Irvin, (Eddie) of Fairhope, AL; JoAnn Roley of Atmore, AL; Linda Sue Carlton (Larry) of Flomaton, AL; Betty Brockett (Jimmy), Saraland, AL, Darlene Brock of Fairhope, AL.

He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church, Flowood, Mississippi.
