Obituary for Geraldine Gary
Geraldine Gary, 71, passed away Friday, May 3rd, 2019 at University of MS Medical Center. She was born October 31st, 1947 in Pascagoula, AL to the late William Woodrow Wynn and Mary Kline Wynn. Geraldine loved to collect nick- knacks. Among her favorite were Coca- Cola and anything Halloween, being that her birthday was on the same day; her and Glenn Jr. had a collection going of Dancing Solar Toys. Geraldine was a simple woman that enjoyed life, cooking, gardening and most of all her family. She was a fighter and beat breast cancer for eight years. Geraldine also loved her dog- Lucky and her cat- Tiger. She a wonderful mother and wife who is beloved and will be greatly missed. Geraldine is preceded in death by her parents; her brother- Willis Wynn; her sisters- Ruth Burch, Francis Bryant and Mary Clyburn. She is survived by her husband- Glenn Gary, Sr.; her son- Glenn Gary, Jr. both from Jackson, MS;her extended family who she loved like her own- Greg (Marsha) Henley from Pearl, MS; and nieces and nephews. Services are Wednesday, May 8th, 2019 at Sebrell Funeral Home. Visitation begins at 10am- 11am, service at 11am followed by burial at Rosemont Gardens. Rick Blakeney will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Glenn Gary, Jr., Greg Henley, Tommy Rayborn, Kyle Thigpen, Nathan Groleau and Leland Davis.
