Obituary for Gene Anderson
Gene Anderson, 55, died May 13, 2018. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Parkway Baptist Church with burial following in Lakewood Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.
Gene was born on September 25, 1962, in Thomson, GA. Gene worked in the construction industry for many years, both as a land surveyor and landscaper. He especially enjoyed sitting on his front porch listening to music. A friend too many, Gene never met a stranger.
He is preceded in death by his father, Milton Bruce Anderson.
Survivors include: mother, Annette Hyatt (Harold) of Clinton; daughters, Katherine Anderson of Flowood and Debra Anderson of Pelahatchie; 10 grandchildren; sister, Arlene King (Henry) Raymond; brothers, Milton Anderson, II., of TX; Brian Anderson of Crystal Springs and numerous nieces and nephews.
