Obituary for Elizabeth Gail Johnston
Mrs. Elizabeth "Gail” Guy Johnston, 61, died Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Visitation will begin at 1:00p.m. and a Funeral Service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Jackson First Assembly of God, 6339 Highway 18 West, Jackson, Mississippi. Burial will follow and a Graveside Service will commence at 4:15p.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church Cemetery, 104 Crossroads Road, Pelahatchie, Mississippi. Gail was known for her love of cooking and she loved to talk. She was preceded in death by her parents, L.C. Guy and Mable Holdiness Guy; and her brother, Roger Glenn Moore. Survivors include her brother, John Gary Guy and wife, Kathy of Morton, MS; cousins, Perry Steven Moore of Pearl, MS, Tanya Lynn Spell and husband, Tony of Pearl, MS and Wendy Lane Netherland and husband Jeff of Pearl, MS, Debra Counce of Monterey, MS; aunts, Dotsy Thomas and husband Cecil of Richland, MS, Marie Blount of Monterey, MS, Mary Pittman of Brandon, MS and Mattie Johnson of Maryville, TN; Niece, Misty Guy; and a host of extended family and friends.
