Obituary for Elizabeth Bobbie Hopson
Elizabeth “Bobbie” Hopson died Saturday the 11th of March, 2017 at her home in Jackson surrounded by family. She was born November 4, 1935 to Tim and Emma Hopson in Yazoo County, Mississippi. Bobbie provided child care in her home for many years, had a passion for antiques, had a wonderful smile that could light up a room, loved red birds and the Red Headed Stranger. She is survived by her sister Hazel Burton, her brothers, Paul Hopson (Blanche), Melvin Hopson (Libby), and a multitude of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly. She is preceded in death by her siblings: Bill Hopson, Jimmie Clark, Pete Hopson, Frances Varner, Alice Huff, and Billy D. “Bozo” Hopson. Sebrell Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements which will be as follows: Visitation: Monday, March 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Visitation: Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Service: Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Cemetery: Jackson Cemetery, Flora Mississippi In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to BankPlus for the benefit of Jackson Cemetery in memory of Bobbie Hopson.
