Elizabeth “Ann” Douglas passed away October 7th, 2020 at The Blake Assisted Living in Flowood. She was 83. Ann was born on February 26th, 1937 in Burnsville, MS to the late Claude and Hellen Duett Fox. Ann graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. Following a brief teaching career, she joined South Central Bell (AT&T). In 1991, she took an early retirement. Ann lived in Country Place in Pearl and was active in the homeowner’s association prior to moving to The Blake. Ann was a long time member of First Baptist Church Jackson and loved her Sunday School class members.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Nell Fox Sandal.
She is survived by her brothers, Jerald (Ida) Fox from Indianapolis, IN and Tony (Gayle) Fox of Blairsville, GA; eight nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and great nephews; and long time friend, Phyllis B. Blackwell.

Memorials may be sent to First Baptist Church Jackson, MS or to the Ridgeland Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS.
A private interment will take place in Meridian at a later date (TBD).
