Obituary for David Scholz
David Carl Scholz, 79 of Brandon, MS passed away at his home surrounded by his family on November 13, 2017.
David was born on January 22, 1938 in Cincinnatti, Ohio, moving in his younger life to Hollywood, FL.
David is survived by his wife Mary Ann Scholz of Brandon, daughter Kimbrell Scholz Dunaway also of Brandon. His 3 grandchildren Parker Dunaway, Reed Dunaway both of New Orleans, LA, and Mackenzie Dunaway of Baton Rouge, LA. Sister in law Carol English of Flowood, MS and nephew Allen Hart of Jackson, MS. He is also survived by his brother Jerry Scholz (Geri), 2 nieces Kristi Cohen and Jaime Scholz of Hollywood, Fl , and 2 great nieces.
Services will be held Monday, November 20, 2017 at 2:30 PM at Good Shepard Lutheran Church 6035 Highway 25 Flowood, MS. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in David’s name to the charity of your choice.
Our family would like to extend our heartfelt thank you to Dr. Richard Guynes of Jackson Heart Clinic. You will never know how much you have always meant to our family throughout his sickness over the years. You, your honesty, compassion, comfort, and guidance has been such a blessing. I know he as well as our entire family considered you not only a blessing as his doctor, but a dear friend we will treasure forever.
