Obituary for Dale Allen Fowler
Dale Allen Fowler died on Sunday, July 19, 2020 at the Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He was 60.
A native of Clarksdale, MS, the son of Jeanette Hillman Fowler and the late Cecil Aaron Fowler, he had been a resident of the Jackson area since the 1990s.
Dale was a longtime welder by trade. He was highly skilled and took great pride in creating beautiful iron works. He was a friend to all and loved helping others. He was an avid fisherman and spent countless times enjoying fishing with his best friend, James. He is already missed by his beloved dog, Chester. The greatest joy for Dale was the pride, bond, and unconditional love for his daughter, Ashley. Dale was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle and friend.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his brother, Darrell Fowler.
He is survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Sharon Fowler; daughter, Ashley Fowler; his mother, Jeanette Fowler; sisters, Cindy Briscoe (Scott) and Carolyn Fowler; brothers, Cecil Fowler and David Fowler; nieces: Hannah Mott, Amber Mott, Caelynn Briscoe, and Courtney Briscoe; and other relatives and friends.
A family service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Sebrell Funeral Home. Due to Covid precautions and mandates, the service is limited to immediate family only. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the hour of the service.
