Obituary for Corrine Nicole Vardaman
Corinne Nicole Vardaman went home to be with Lord, Jesus Christ on June 5, 2019 at Merit Health in Brandon, MS.
Visitation will be held at the Pointe Church, 1120 Star Road, Brandon, MS from 1:00-3:00 p.m. Sunday, June 9, 2019. Immediately following the visitation a memorial and Celebration of Life service will be held in the Sanctuary at 3:00 p.m.
Corinne Nicole Vardaman was born January 12, 1990 to Jerry Wayne Vardaman, II and Emily Jean Cook Vardaman in Cleveland, MS. At age three years, she and her family relocated to Brandon, MS where she lived until her untimely death. Known by most as Cori and to some as Cora, she entertained and kept most everyone laughing with her wit and antics. Loved and cherished by family.
She attended Brandon schools matriculating through the 12 grade before seeking a GED. She enrolled at Hinds Community College before pursuing a career in convenient store retail management. Corinne worked at multiple sites in the Jackson-Metro area making friends and displaying love to everyone in which she came in contact.
Corinne gave birth to a son, Nicklies in July 2010. He became her life as she tried to make a life for the two of them in Brandon, MS.
She was a former member of Crossgates Baptist Church where she grew to know the Lord and accepted at a very early age. In 1997 professing her faith in public display of baptism, she became a child of the one true living God. She joined the choir at an early and enjoyed singing and worshipping the Lord. She recently began to attend The Pointe Church with her parents and son.
She was preceded in death by David Cook Sr. (Grandfather); Jerry Wayne Vardaman, Sr. (Grandfather); Suzanne N. Saunders (Grandmother).
She is survived by her son, Nicklies Bates of Brandon, MS; Grandparents, Shirley McPherson Vardaman of Cleveland, MS; Hubert (Hubby) Saunders, IV of Jackson, MS; Linda Cook of Madison, MS; Parents, Jerry Wayne Vardaman, II of Brandon, MS and Emily Jean Cook Vardaman also of Brandon, MS; one sister, Marlina Grace Vardaman of Brandon, MS.
