Obituary for Corine Brock
Corine Brock, 98, died Friday, March 6, 2020 at the Hillcrest Nursing Center in Magee. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2020 at Harrisville Baptist Church with burial following in Harrisville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. Monday at the church.
Corine was born on August 11, 1921 in Simpson County to the late Albert and Addie Lewis. She enjoyed traveling to Oregon to visit her sister, cooking and quilting. Corine was the oldest member of her church, which she faithfully attended. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Albert and Addie Lewis, she is preceded in death by her husband, G.W. Brock, infant son, George Anthony Brock and 13 siblings.
She is survived by son, Albert (Jimmie) Brock of Star; daughter, Sue (Wayne) Harris of Harrisville; grandson, Brad (Melanie) Harris of Georgetown; granddaughters, Mechelle (Milton) Phillips of Brandon; Kacie (Matt) Furlow of Brookhaven; Stephanie (Jason Bowen of Harrisville; 8 great grandchildren; 5 great -great grandchildren and one great -great grandchild arriving in June.
