Obituary for Christopher Tyler Pendergrass
Christopher Tyler Pendergrass, 57 of Canton, MS died unexpectedly August 9, 2022 at his home. Chris was born December 17, 1964 in Jackson, MS. Chris is survived by his two daughters: Brianna Pendergrass of Jackson, MS and Nicole Anderson of Biloxi, MS, his mother, Jane Primos (Jimmy), his sister Beth Busbea (Buzz), his brother Kevin Pendergrass of Madison, MS, and nephew Jesse Busbea. He is preceded in death by his father, Roy W. Pendergrass, paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. David Pendergrass, maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Sharp. Chris believed in God, family and working hard. He was currently employed with Eco Lab in Canton, MS. He served nearly 20 years in the Air National Guard. During his service he was given the “key to the city” of San Antonio, TX for saving lives when a building collapsed. He loved meeting people, helping anyone in need, being with family and adventures like jumping out of airplanes. The bible and talking scripture with family and friends gave him his strength in life. A celebration of life for Chris will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2022 at Pinelake Church in Madison, MS with visitation beginning at 11:00am followed by service at 11:30am.
