Obituary for Charles Walter Harrell, III
Charles Walter Harrell III a.k.a. Chaz, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on January 14, 2020 at the age of 17. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Walter Harrell Sr., grandmother, Irma Lucille Thaggard, and cousin, Christopher Michael Harrell. He was survived by his parents, Charles Walter Harrell Jr. and Kathie Taylor Harrell of Terry, MS, brothers Jeffrey Davis of Richland, MS, Dakota Heath of Pearl, MS, and Tyler Barrett of Forest, MS, sisters Julie Thornton and husband Joshua of Richland, MS, Abbigail Thomas of Brandon, MS, Kaitlyn Redmond of Morton, MS, McKinsey Redmond of Morton, MS, Brittany Redmond of Forest, MS, grandmother, Lisa Brown Harrell of Braxton, MS, uncles Christopher Harrell and wife Jennifer of Morton, MS, Chase Harrell of Florence, MS, Joshua Harrell of Florence, MS, aunts Ruthie Sheppard and husband Colin of Florence, MS, Kandace Thomas of Brandon, MS, Jessica Moran of Florence, MS, Chasity White of Braxton, MS, Kayleigh Harrell of Braxton, MS and aunt, Karen Weeks and husband Albert of Crystal Springs, MS. He also had quite a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, Chaz was home schooled and was about to take his test to acquire his high school diploma and had been participating in an in-depth verse by verse bible study program which he was passionate about. He enjoyed any and everything having to do with fast cars and racing, football, and music. He had a talent for remembering every song and who sang it, every actor or actress who ever played in any movie or television show pertaining to comic book heroes, and the background and story of every comic book hero, but without a doubt, like his father, he was a Batman fan. He spent most of his weekends with his niece, Savannah Grace Thornton, age 4, who refused to believe that he was her uncle, instead choosing to call him her best friend. Chaz was a hard worker and a pretty good cook for a 17 year old and is already missed more than words can express.
