Charles Flubacher, 73, died on May 24, 2023 after a lengthy illness. Born in Minneapolis, MN, he moved with his family to New Orleans at age 10 where he lived and worked until relocating to Jackson after Hurricane Katrina. Charlie enjoyed a long career in broadcast television until his retirement in 2012. He was an active member of the Deutches Haus in New Orleans and enjoyed metal detecting. Charlie also looked forward to All Saints Church’s annual Labor Day Weekend at Camp Bratton Green until his health prevented him from getting around. Charlie is survived by his wife Debbie Weathersby, sister Margaret Massey, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his two cats Sebastian and Stella who he adored. In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to All Saints Episcopal Church in Jackson, MS.
