Obituary for Charles "Chuck" Bertram Shive, III
Charles (Chuck) Bertram Shive, III, of Brandon, Ms was born November 12, 1954, and passed away suddenly on September 20, 2021. He was a native of Jackson, MS, and graduated Wingfield High School in 1972. He attended the University of Miss and was an xray tech and radiology instructor at the University of Mississippi Medical Center for numerous years before he retired. He was a USAF veteran and an avid show car freak. He was a quiet man with a great wit and his friends and family will miss him greatly. Chuck is survived by his sister, Monica Caldwell of South Carolina; 2 nephews, Berto Caldwell (Samantha) of Crystal Springs, Ms, and Kelly Saucier of Brandon, Florida; nieces, Brandye Atkinson of South Carolina, Melissa Atkinson (Ryan) and Melody McKinley (Joshua); great nephews, Kyler Atkinson of South Carolina, Corp. Gabriel Arechiga USMC of West Va, and Tristan Saucier of Brandon, Florida; great nieces, Kaitlyn Caldwell of Pearl, Ms, Ana Marie Arechiga of Flowood Ms, Kaitlyn Atkinson (Tony) of Florence Ms, Jessica Atkinson, Kinley Galloway and Madison Galloway; and multiple great great nephews and great great nieces. He is preceded in death by his parents, Col. Charles B. Shive, Jr. and Margaret Nettles Shive and two sisters, Charlene Saucier and Cindi McKinley.
