Obituary for Cathy Ruth Scarborough
Cathy Ruth Scarbrough, of Pearl, MS passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the age of 70 at University Medical Center. She was born on February 20, 1946 in Atlanta GA to John Stewart and Phillis Beason. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Malcolm Scarbrough, (of Pearl) her sister Nancy Disbrow of California, and brother Bobby Brick of Georgia. She is survived by her 5 children: Bobby Strickland and wife Kim of Springville AL, Stephen Brown of Torrence, CA, Alicia Roberts of Pearl, MS, Anthony Scarbrough of Jackson, MS, Michael Scarbrough and wife Chelsea of Pearl, MS and 6 grandchildren: Paul Brown of California, Aaron and Kyle Cagle of Alabama, Kaylee and Ashley Roberts of Pearl, And Stephanie Scarbrough of Pearl. Cathy enjoyed various types of crafting and loved horses, unicorns, her chihuahua, Bridgette, and Elvis Presley. Visitation and services are being held from1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, October ,25,2016 at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS. Graveside services are to immediately follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Pearl, MS at 2:30 PM.
