Carol Brown Moskewitz , 90, got her angel’s wings on August 21, 2023 and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was a beloved woman who touched the hearts and lives of so many throughout her years. Carol is survived by her two sisters: Yvonne Bedell and Kay Peterson; her four children: Trip Brown (Barrett), Jay Brown (Andra), Mary Shapley (Mark) and Katy Spalding (Bill); her eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Her favorite memories included attending the various sporting events of her children and grandchildren, traveling around the country and abroad, spending time with family and friends, playing cards and meeting new people. At the age of 70, she married Jack Moskewitz, whom she was able to spend 17 wonderful years with him and his family. She left a trail of love beginning with her friends at St. Richard, The Valley, Trustmark, The Pine Cone and St. Catherine’s Village. She will be missed by all who knew her. The family would like to thank St. Catherine's and Gentiva Hospice' staff for their attentive and loving care.
Services will commence Friday, August 25, with visitation at 9:30am followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30am at St. Richard Catholic Church, Jackson, MS. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to Carmelite Monastery, 2155 Terry Rd., Jackson, MS 39204 or St. Richard Catholic Church.
