Obituary for Carol Ann Westerfield
Carol Ann Westerfield passed away Friday, March 26th, 2021 at her residence in Pearl, MS. She was 69. Carol was born on October 27th, 1951 in Chicopee, WA to the late George Benjamin and Johnnie Loper Roberts. She was so much fun to be around and she would light up the room with her presence. She was big in to sports such as, NASCAR and football, especially the New Orleans Saints and her favorite college SEC team was Auburn; she enjoyed shopping with her family and friends and was always watching QVC or the food network. She also enjoyed cooking. Carol was a mom, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents. Carol is survived by her son, Matthew Hall of Brandon, MS; sisters,Linda Cross-Rawson of Brandon, MS, Patsy Roberts Simpson and husband Duane Simpson of Oak Island, NC; nephews, Dustin Ray and Christopher Duane Simpson, Michael Shane and Jason Channing Cross; niece, Jessica Sattuck Hill; great nephew, Kyle Cross, Kaige Hill, and Kemper Hill; great nieces, Abbie Cross, Cameron Lacy Simpson, and Paisley Clogston. With thankful recognition to the father of her son Larry Hall for helping whenever and however he could; Mi'Lisa Hutchinson, to whom she was happy to call family; and Dawn Brewer, a woman with many titles, but best summed up as a godsend "says close family" for being more like a sister in times of hardship than just friend and Chris Cooley though not related always had an open door and a helping hand and Carol happily called family.
