Obituary for Candace Liware LaBouve

Candace Liware LaBouve, 40, died March 27, 2023, at home. Candy was born on March 28,

1982, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, before later moving with her family to the Jackson area. She

attended and graduated from The Education Center in Jackson, MS, before continuing her

education in cosmetology. Candy loved spending time with her family whether it be gathered

around the pool every summer, participating in the heated Ole Miss vs. Mississippi State family

rivalry, or spending time in the kitchen creating delicious dishes for her family.


Candy is survived by her parents, Peggy and Johnny LaBouve, her three sons, Tyler LaBouve of

Brandon, Chandler and Lane Allen of Richland, and her brothers Nick LaBouve (Lisa) of

Mendenhall and David (Sarah Beth) of Phoenix, Arizona and paternal grandmother, Margaret

LaBouve of Clarksdale. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Dick and

Peggy Moore of Clarksdale.


Visitation is Friday, March 31, at 12:00 P.M. at Sebrell Funeral Home in Ridgeland, MS,

followed by a funeral service at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel. The burial will then follow at Parkway

Memorial Cemetery in Ridgeland, MS.
