Obituary for Buford Dayton Bell
Buford Dayton Bell, 77, died Friday, April 28, 2017 at St. Dominic Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 1, 2017 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Pearl. Burial will follow in Flora Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. Monday at the church. Mr. Bell was born on March 29, 1940, the son of the late Ed and Marcella Bell. He retired from KLLM after 24 years as a trailer mechanic. A loving father, he cherished spending time with his family. Mr. Bell was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed repairing small engines. Along with his parents and siblings, he is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ruth Bell and by a son, Stevie Glenn Bell. Survivors include: daughters, Darla Renee Westerfield and husband Arnie of Pearl; Pamela Carol Quinnelly and husband Tim of Hazlehurst; 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
