Brett Steven Arrington, age 32, of Madison, MS passed away unexpectedly on March 23, 2023. Born at Woman’s Hospital in Flowood, MS April 19, 1990, he is the son of Paul Steven Arrington and Sara Rebecca (Becky) Arrington. Brett’s celebration of life will be Monday, March 27th, 2023, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Gluckstadt, MS. Visitation will start at 10:00am and service to start at 11:00am.
Brett graduated from high school from Tri-County Academy in 2008 in Flora, MS. Brett attended Holmes Jr. College graduating from Lineman school.
Brett worked for S & S Contractors cutting grass on and off for many years. He also worked for Hall’s Towing for awhile. After graduating Lineman school, he worked for Irby Construction, Power Secure and many other companies doing transmission line work in Georgia, Alabama, Texas and Louisiana. For the last several years Brett was currently working for Chain Electric with a great crew of guys he loved working with, they worked storm duty many times together. He was so glad to be working in the Jackson/Madison area to be home every night to see his kids.
Growing up Brett loved to deer hunt and go fishing, riding 4-wheelers with his friends and family. Brett played football all through his school years, and Brett loved hanging out with his friends. Brett has a great sense of humor and always had a smile on his face.
Brett’s children, Hartley (5) and Noah (4) were the most important thing in his life. He did everything with them and loved taking them places with him, playing outside with them everyday. He loved buying them clothes and getting talked into buying toys too. Making their birthday special was always so important to him. He cooked for them and gave them baths every night. Working and providing for his kids was the most important thing to him.
Brett loved his family and friends and was always there if someone needed him. In his spare time Brett enjoyed helping his dad and brother pour concrete.
Brett is survived by his daughter, Hartley Kate Arrington, son, Noah Brett Arrington, his children’s mother, Ashley Sharplin, his brother Paul Maxwell Arrington (Emily Grace Arrington), his niece Maddi Grace Arrington, his parents, Paul Steven Arrington and Sara Rebecca (Becky) Arrington, his grandmother Sara Whitehurst Burrow and many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Charlotte Arrington, and John P. Burrow.
