Bonita Louise (Billy) Koufopoulos was born on July 8th, 1950 in Allentown Pennsylvania, to the late Charles and Elizabeth (Gaidula) Billy
Survived by her husband of 46 years - the Rev. Protopresbyter Andrew Koufopoulos
Their daughter Tatianna Maria (Koufopoulos) and her husband Steven Quick
Son Christopher Charles and Andrea(Miller) Koufopoulos and their children, Lily Marie and Caiden Andrew
Her Siblings, Dona Michele and Richard Myers and their children Richard Reuben Myers, Becky Barrett, and Jeni Moen
Charles and Chris Billy and their children Allegra Christine Billy,Charles Brian III and McKenzie (Winebold) Billy and their son Bohdi Charles. Jared Russell and Alyssa (Kahr) Billy, Bruce and Kathy Billy and their children Kaitlyn and her son Dalton Billy and Shawn Billy
Bonita was a graduate of Northeastern School of Nursing and was a registered nurse. She met her husband while he was a student at Saint Tikhon's Seminary in South Canaan Pa. On January 23rd they were married at Saint Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Allentown PA. In August of 1977 Andrew was ordained deacon in Scranton PA and priest in Des Plaines IL, For the next 46 years of ministry Presvitera Bonnie
was active teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, and active with the Ladies Philoptochos Ministry.
All this while being a homemaker and keeping the house running smoothly. A difficult time considering she worked the 3-11 shift at local hospitals while Father Andrew assumed the second shift "daddy chore". With the onset of the "empty nest years" she continued to work in clinic setting instead of floor nurse. Her many hobbies included sewing, scrap booking, some needle pointing and crocheting.
