Obituary for Billy Wayne Holder
Billy Wayne Holder, 75 passed away at his home in Clinton, MS on March 22, 2022 after a lengthy and brave battle with cancer. Billy was born on August 1, 1946, to the late Mr. Bill B. Holder and Mrs .Velma Hickson Holder. Billy was an avid hunter and fisherman, and really enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. He was a self- employed painter and carpenter for many years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, of 54 years, Judith Morrow Holder and his parents. Billy is survived by his children daughter, Debra Neal (Greg), of Terry, MS and son, David Holder (Faye), of Clinton, MS, three brothers, Marlyn Holder (Sudie), of Clinton, MS, James Holder, of Lexington, MS, Lanny Holder (Sherry), of Raleigh, MS, and step sister, Billie Joyce Applewhite, of Ellisville, MS, seven grandchildren, Chelsey Sanford (Kevin), of Petal, MS, Brandi Thompson (Rylon), of Madison, MS, Tony Wilson (Chae) of Oxford, MS; Michael Wilson (Ocean) of Clinton, MS, BreeAnna Moore (Ian), of Clinton, MS, and Sawyer and Gracyn Neal of Terry, MS and twelve great-grandchildren also a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family would like to extend a big thank you to the Baptist Cancer Center, Dr. Wilkerson, Dr. Williamson, and staff. Donations may be made, in memory of Billy Wayne Holder to the Cancer Center at Mississippi Baptist , C/O Health Foundation, 1225 North State St. Jackson, MS 39202..
