Obituary for Betty Beasley

Betty Beasley, 90, passed away August 27, 2022 following a brief illness. She was born on March 19, 1932. Betty graduated from Forest Hill High School. She was a long-time resident of Jackson and more recently, a resident at Chateau Ridgeland.

Betty was employed for over 30 years as an Executive Assistant at Milner Enterprises and for 13 years as the bookkeeper at Northminster Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and caring for her beautiful roses.

Betty is predeceased by her father, Ed Barham; mother, Pearl Kelly Barham; husband, Richard N. Beasley, Sr.; son, Michael A. Beasley; son-in-law, Brent Saunders; and four brothers, Jim, Dickie, Bill and Bob Barham.

She is survived by her children Richard (Rick) N. Beasley, Jr. (Sherry) of Brandon, MS, Kathy Saunders of Ridgeland, MS, Susan Exley (Slade) of Brandon, MS and daughter-in-law, Diane Beasley of Brandon, MS. She had 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Her family would like to thank the staff and residents of Chateau Ridgeland and her Caregivers with Assisting Angels for the friendship and care provided to her during these last four years!

A private family memorial service will be held at Covenant Presbyterian Church on Friday, September 2, 2022.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
