Obituary for Barbara Deloris Smith
Barbara Deloris Smith passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at The Arbors in Ridgeland, MS. She was 88. Deloris was born in Matthews, Missouri on March 4, 1932 to the late Jesse Lee and Ollie Dunigan Mosley. As a child she grew up in Blytheville, AR and later worked for the local telephone company. She met her husband and moved to Jackson, MS in 1969. Deloris was a member of Oakdale Baptist Church in Brandon, when she was able to go. She was a kind, loving woman who always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed being around others, especially her family; she adored her grandchildren and loved spending time with them. She was an avid reader and a great cook. Deloris was a mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed.

Deloris is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bobby DeWayne Smith.

She is survived by her daughter, Tracy Smith Byrd (Doug) of Jackson, MS and her grandchildren, Jessica McKenzie Davis, Jordan Lee Davis and Reece Alexander Davis.
