Obituary for B. Bryant Smith
Benny Bryant Smith, 69, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at St. Dominic’s Hospital. Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. Thursday, February 17, 2022 at Parkway Baptist Church in Clinton with service at 10:00. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Gore Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery in Gore Springs, MS. Bryant was born on October 20, 1952 in Grenada, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Benny Smith. A graduate of John Rundle High School in Grenada, MS he continued his education at Ole Miss earning his B.S. in Pharmacy. A long time resident of Clinton, Bryant retired from MS State Hospital Pharmacy in 2016. Bryant enjoyed singing in the adult choir at Parkway Baptist Church and volunteering in the preschool department. Survivors include: daughter, Tessa Reynolds and husband Doug and their children Madilee and Ruger Reynolds all of Tennyson, IN; brother, Mark Smith; brother-in-law Leon Fisk; several aunts and uncles, 2 nieces and 4 nephews; and a host of cousins. He was preceded in death by his wife Natasha; his parents and sister, Sharon Fisk. Memorials may be made to Parkway Baptist Church, P.O. Box 65 Clinton, MS 39056.
