Anthony Ray McNutt was born July 4, 1962 in Belzoni, MS (Humphrey County) and then later that year moved to Jackson, MS, where he resided during his younger years. Anthony was brought up in the church and at the age of 18 years, he accepted Christ into his life. Anthony attended Murrah High School in Jackson, MS. He graduated with the “Class of 1980”.
He continued his education at Natchez Jr. College where in 1982 he earned his A.A. Degree in Business Administration, and afterwards he transferred to Alcorn State University. Over the years, Anthony resided in West Palm Beach, FL, and Detroit, MI until he found his way back home to Ridgeland/Jackson, Mississippi, where until the Lord called him home on Friday morning, May 19, 2023. Anthony was a hardworking and dedicated employee, while mentoring the youth in various communities. Anthony enjoyed music, singing, dancing, sports and lovedspending time with family, friends and having fun creating memories.
He is preceded in death by his father: Issac McNutt Jr.; his mother: Lolee Hunter McNutt; and sister: Rose Hunter Love.
His memories are left to be cherished by his wife: Jennifer McNutt, his children: LaTodd Ward, KaMyra McNutt, Antonio McNutt Sr. (Samantha Lynn), Alexander McNutt (Dominique), William Issac McNutt, John Wilkerson, Valdez Wilkerson, Dante Wilkerson, Shante Wilkerson, and Devantue Wilkerson; his grandchildren: Re’Kayla, KaMorian, Nikolas, Antonio Jr, Ethan, Xavier, Ashton, Nevaeh, Zayla, Dante Jr, Logan, Raegan, Airyana, Dejune, Kamaya, Leia; sisters, Rose Hunter, Clara Blackmon, Samantha McNutt, Jacqui McNutt-Coleman, Robbie McNutt-Alexander, Janice Blackmon, Bernita Blackmon, brothers, Robert Blackmon, Larry McNutt, Andre Blackmon, nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives and friends. He loved and had a special relationship with everyone. Because of all the memories he created and shared while on earth, he will truly be missed and always remembered.
