Obituary for Anthony Gabrie "Tony" Mansoor, Jr.
Anthony Gabrie “Tony” Mansoor, Jr., 47, of Madison, died Friday, December 15, 2017. Born April 12, 1970, he was the son of Anthony and Leila Gabrie Mansoor. He was raised in Tchula before moving to Jackson where he was a 1988 graduate of Jackson Academy. He was a graduate of the University of Mississippi where he was a member of Kappa Alpha Order. He was a loyal Ole Miss fan supporting all Rebel sports. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his sister and brother-in-law, Sabrina Mansoor Paben, and her husband, Hank. Survivors include his wife, Ginny Mansoor; his children: Brie, Clare, Steven, and Mary Kate; his parents, Leila and Tony Mansoor, Sr.; sisters: Liz Mansoor, and fiancee’, Kevin Helton; and Helen Bunnell and her husband, Kevin; nieces and nephews: Blake and Brooke Paben; Jade and Bianca Hentges; Jordan and Dylan Bunnell; and Dixon, Gwynn, and Grace Prewitt; and a host of other loving relatives and many friends. Friends are invited to visitation with the family after 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 in the Chapel of Broadmoor Baptist Church, 1531 Highland Colony Parkway, where the funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in the Worship Center with Dr. Rob Futral, Pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Natchez Trace Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Mansoor Children’s Scholarship Fund to be established at BankPlus.
