Annietta Cole passed away on November 9, 2021. She was born in Mendenhall, Mississippi on February 11, 1947. She was a sister, aunt and friend who will be greatly missed. In her early years, she loved traveling throughout Europe. Having an artistic talent, Annietta saw beauty in many things that most people took for granted.
She attended Millsaps for 2 years and got her accounting degree from the University of Southern Miss. Having worked for two major accounting firms, she worked for a casino in Philadelphia, Miss., until her retirement.
Annietta was predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. L. Cole, brothers, Van Cole and Lee Cole.
She is survived by sisters, Laquetta C. Scoggins and Justina C. Eaton(Barney). Nieces and nephews, Barney E. Eaton IV(Paula), Samuel Cole Eaton(Molly), Johnny Scoggins(Shirley), Ronnie Scoggins (Quida), Ann S. Klobe(Paul), Amy S. Laster(Tom), Anthony Nelo Scoggins, Steven Scoggins (Dollie), many grand nieces and nephews.
We will be having a family service to inter Annietta’s ashes. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her memory to: St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
Or to a charity of your choice.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
