Obituary for Ann M. Sutterfield Harvey
Ann M. Sutterfield Harvey, 74, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 surrounded by her family at her home in Utica, Mississippi. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 9th, 2017 with a Funeral Service at 1:00 PM at Learned Presbyterian Church, 310 Oak Street, Learned, Mississippi. Burial will follow the service at Raymond City Cemetery in Raymond, Mississippi. Mrs. Harvey was born August 25th, 1942, in Jackson to the late Frank Sutterfield and Maurine Oberhousen Sutterfield. Ann could best be described as a selfless, kind-hearted and generous person. She was an excellent caregiver and was a devoted and loyal daughter and wife who continued to care for her mother and her husband until their deaths. She enjoyed creating floral arrangements for the church, yet most loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. It was evident by the amount of dedication she showed for her family that they always came first in her life.
Mrs. Harvey was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Harvey, Sr.; brothers, Frank Sutterfield and Jack Sutterfield.
She is survived by her son, Larry Harvey, Jr. of Learned, MS; daughter, Kathy Harvey (Michael) Heidelberg of Learned, MS; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
