Obituary for Amy Elizabeth Eifling
Amy Elizabeth Eifling, age 43, passed away at home on the Reservoir on Wednesday, January 30. She is survived by her loving husband, Timothy Bermond, and her precious daughter Emma Grace. She is also survived by her step-brother Dr. Walker Hunsicker of Denver, CO, and step-sister Carie Hunsicker of New Orleans, LA, and her two furry friends, Hazel and Toby Eifling. Her parents are Lynda Hunsicker and John H. Hunsicker, and Marion Eifling and Bonnie Eifling.

She received her PhD from the University of Southern MS for Organizational Development, and her under-graduate degree is from MS State University in Interior Design. The Mississippi Business Journal named her one of the “Top 40 Under 40” in Mississippi. The Business Journal also recognized Amy as one of the “50 Leading Business Women in Mississippi”. Amy was featured in the international magazine, T & D, as 1 of 6 members of “Training’s New Guard 2004”. Amy also served as President of the American Society for Training and Development’s Mississippi Chapter for two terms.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, February 3 from 2:00-3:00 at Vertical Church 521 Gluckstadt Rd, Madison, MS 39110. Reverend Phillip Thurman of Vertical Church will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, please donate to MS Animal Rescue League (MARL) in Jackson, MS.
