Obituary for Alice Evans Newman
Alice Evans Newman passed away August 10th, 2021 at Merit Health Central in Jackson, MS. She was 68. Alice will be remembered as a kind and generous person who supported many organizations such as, Breast Cancer Awareness, Wounded Warriors, American Indians, American Heart Association, American Lung Association, to name a few. She was fun- loving, enjoyed karaoke and dancing. She is a mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, John and Gipe Evans.
She is survived by her son, Walter Newman of Jackson, MS; her daughter Allison Allen (Jeremy) of Pearl, MS; brothers, William, Jr., his wife, Elaine, Albert and Roger Evans; sister, Nellie Christiansen of Terry, MS; grandchildren, Lisa Newman, Cheyenne, Lane, Dusty, JJ and Trinity Allen; great granddaughter, Bella and her significant other, Danny White.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
