Obituary for Al B. Weeks, IV.
On Saturday, March 27, 2021, Albert “Al” B. Weeks IV passed away at home at the age of 47. Al was born on January 3, 1974 in Lubbock, Texas to reverend Albert B. Weeks III and Pamela Weeks . Al was born into a military family, his dad served in the Air force and Al was raised in Japan, Germany, and in several military bases stateside. When he turned 18 he followed his dream of serving his country and his beloved Marine Corps. He was, is, and always will be a Marine. Al enjoyed the simple things in life, he and his wife often traveled just so he could try a restaurant he would see on Food NetworjkTV, or they would make the recipe at home. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and loved his Saints football. He had a great love for his family, he often said he only got two things right in life, joining the Marine Corps and marrying his very loved wife. Al is preceded in death by the first lady he ever loved, his mom, Pamela E. Weeks, and his sister, Mary Brown. He is survived by his wife, Karen Weeks, daughter, Heather (Bradley) Herrington, son Brad Bennett, his daughter, Jessica (Taylor) Hodges and the light of his life – his grandbabies: Bethann, Colby, and Annabelle. Al held many titles in life, but his favorite one was Poppy, sister, Janet (Darryl) Rosamond, nephew, Charles Hydrick, niece, Tiffany Russell, sister in law, Kathie (Charlie) Harrell, and brother in law,Thomas Smith.
