Obituary for Adrienne Bourgeois Boone
Adrienne Bourgeois Boone passed in peace at the age of 88 after a brief illness. Adrienne was born and raised in Jackson, Miss. where she was a member of the Junior League of Jackson, the River Hills Tennis Club, a member of the Debutante Club of Jackson and various luncheon clubs, serving as President of several. She graduated from Millsaps College with a degree in music. She took pleasure in composing and playing the piano, tennis, dancing and spending time with family and friends. She was kind, generous, outgoing and loved getting to know people. Adrienne is preceded in death by her husband, John McNamara Boone, Sr. She is survived by her children, Charles Henry Boone, IV, Dr. John McNamara Boone, Jr. (Kim Adams Boone) and Christine Boone Guizerix (Armand Paul (Skipper) Guizerix, III); grandchildren Christopher Holmes Guizerix and Amanda Catherine Guizerix; sisters Margaret Bourgeois Henderson and Christine Bourgeois Yates, and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at the Chapel of the Cross in Madison, Miss. on Nov. 16, 2018 at 11 a.m., with a visitation starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in the Chapel Cemetery.
