Obituary for Ada Buffington
Ada Burton Buffington passed away May 22nd, 2020 at Brandon Court Nursing Home in Brandon, MS. She was 69. Ada was born on June 5th, 1950 in Macon, MS to the late Clinton and Sue Rogers Burton. She enjoyed being outdoors, going camping and having cookouts with her family. She also liked to go out to eat with her family and friends, she was happy when everyone else was happy. Ada liked to crochet and watch preachers on the TV, especially Charles Stanley. She will be remembered as always wearing a smile and how much she adored her children. Ada is a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great- great grandmother, sister, and aunt who will be greatly missed.
Ada is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Clinton, Teddy and Eddie Burton.
She is survived by her sons, Michael Burton (Carol) and Chris Goodwin (Hope) both from Florence, MS; daughters, Kim Boyde (Joey) from Brandon, MS and Susan Conrad from Sedona, AZ; brother, Freddie Burton (Brenda) from Slidell, LA; half sister, Ann Fox; Tommy Burton and numerous nephews and nieces; Bryce, Brennan, and Easton Goodwin and 8 other grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great- great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th, 2020 at Macedonia Community Church Cemetery in Shuqualak, MS at noon with Bro. Phil Fancher officiating. The visitation before the service will be at Sebrell Funeral Home from 9 AM- 10 AM.
Serving as pallbearers’ will be the family.
