Obituary for Aaron James Goodlett
Aaron James Goodlett passed away Sunday, March 4, 2018, at the age of 34. Aaron was born in Metairie, Louisiana, October 25, 1983. The Goodlett family relocated to the Brandon-Reservoir area in 1985. Aaron attended and graduated from Northwest Rankin schools in 2002. He continued his education at Front Range Community College in Ft. Collins, Colorado, and graduated with an associate degree in business in 2017. Aaron lived life to the fullest. He hiked, camped, snowboarded, and mountain-biked with his constant companion, his beloved dog Cruz in the majesty of Colorado nature. He is survived by parents, Allen and Sabrina Goodlett, of Brandon; brother, Trevor Goodlett and his wife, Krystle and his children, Emma Grace and Sophia, of Brandon; sister, Alaena Goodlett Ramsey and her husband, Brian and their children, Westin and Parker, of Ridgeland; maternal grandmother, Sandra Landers, of Covington, Louisiana, and innumerable family and friends. Aaron is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Ernest Lee Landers and paternal grandparents, James Clyde and Norma Goodlett. Visitation and funeral services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Jackson, Mississippi. Visitation will be held Friday, March 9, 2018, 4-7 p.m. and Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2018, with Rev. James R. Holowach officiating. Interment is immediately following service at Parkway Memorial Cemetery, Ridgeland, Mississippi. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Aaron’s name to Christ Lutheran Church, 4423 I-55 North, Jackson, Mississippi 39206.
