Joan Frantz Endy
Joan Frantz Endy, 92, died on Saturday, October 30, 2016, at Lakeland Nursing Home in Jackson. Graveside services will be conducted at Cedar Lawn Cemetery on Saturday, November 5, at 9:30 a.m., with a memorial service to follow at First Presbyterian Church at 11:00 a.m under the direction of Sebrell Funeral Home. Visitation will take place immediately before and after the memorial service.
Joan was born in Jackson, Mississippi on April 13, 1924 to Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Frantz and was a lifelong northsider and a graduate of Central High School. She was active in civic and community activities and a long-time member of First Presbyterian Church, where she served and taught in the three year-olds Sunday School class for over fifty years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander Endy. Joan is survived by her daughter, Sandra Endy Salmon (Buz), her grandchildren: Steve (Teresa) McMullen, Will (Michelle) McMullen and Melissa (Erie) Daniels, and four great grandchildren. Joan will be missed by many friends with whom she shared her constant and unconditional love and friendship.
