Obituary for Nancy Johnson Herrin
Nancy Johnson Herrin, 63, passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.
Born August 16, 1954 in Leake County, MS, she was the daughter of Mary Frances Thomas Johnson and the late Kenneth Johnson. She retired in 2014 having served as Administrative Assistant at the Mississippi Board of Nursing following 38 years of service. She was baptized by faith and was a member of High Hill Baptist Church in Walnut Grove.
She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joe Herrin, of Jackson; son, Joey Herrin, of Alexandria, LA; daughters, Angelisa Mitchell (Jon), of Clinton, and Stacy Chapman, of Brandon; her mother, Mary Frances Johnson, and a brother, Don Johnson (Lisa), all of Walnut Grove; grandchildren: Meagan Rauch (Geoff), Morgan McPhail, Adam McPhail, Alyssa McPhail, all of Brandon, and Laney Mitchell, of Clinton; great grandchildren: Jaycie Null and Raelyn Rauch, both of Brandon; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
Friends are invited to visitation with the family after 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 at Sebrell Funeral Home where a Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Don Cook, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice Ministries of Ridgeland.
