Obituary for Kelly Renee Myers
Kelly Renee Myers, 50, died Friday, April 21, 2017 in Clarksdale, MS. A funeral service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lexington with burial following in the church cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. one hour prior to service time on Saturday at the church.
Kelly was born on July 29, 1966, the daughter of James Kelly Crapps and Emily Elizabeth Crapps. A graduate of the Education Center, she continued her education attending Hinds Community College. Kelly loved riding motorcycles and listening to blues music. She enjoyed attending parades especially Mardi Gras and St. Patrick’s Day. Kelly cherished spending time with her friends and her family, particularly many nieces and nephews.
In her younger years, she danced ballet and performed at Thalia Mara Hall in the Nutcracker. Kelly was a member of the Baptist Church.
Kelly is preceded in death by her father, James Kelly Crapps, sister, Sybyl Elizabeth Curtis and great nephew, Joseph Neil Roberts.
Survivors include, mother, Emily Elizabeth Crapps of Jackson; husband, James “Hungry” Sellers of Jackson; niece, Jennifer Roberts of Brandon; nephew, Sean Curtis and wife Lexie of Terry; great nieces and nephews, Patrick, Lilly, Maci, Kylie, Eli and Colton.
