Obituary for Joseph Ferdinand LeMoine
Joseph Ferdinand LeMoine was born December 24, 1924 in New Orleans, Louisiana, and passed away on September 14, 2017 at home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a Funeral Service to follow at St. Richard Catholic Church at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 19, 2017, with burial following at Parkway Cemetery.
Mr. LeMoine served in the U.S. Coast Guard, then married in 1950 to his wife, Genevieve Ory. They moved to Jackson, Mississippi in 1952. He worked for Diamond Match Company, Bama Jams and Jellies as a Sales Representative. Joseph then worked in the food brokerage business, and subsequently retired . He was an active member of the Metro Jackson Lions Club. His hobbies included LSU football, and the New Orleans Saints, a cold cocktail, and a lover of Jazz Music.
Mr. LeMoine was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Carline LeMoine; his sisters, Caroline Jenkins and Shirley Reed.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny; son, David (Judy) LeMoine; and grandchildren, Nicole and David.
